Abdul Aziz Hamdan

Abdul Aziz Hamdan graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and also an alumni of London School of Business (LBS) Executive education Finance and Strategy program. Abdul Aziz was from the qualified few that have moved from Oil & Gas to Downstream Petrochemicals where he led the establishment of this function within Saudi Aramco. He led its growth & maturity then led the team to integrate this business within Sabic successfully.  Currently, he is working as VP of Business Development & Growth in Aramco Trading, responsible for leading development of new business leading to new frontiers as well as further enhancements to those current business or assets within the Aramco group.

For the past 20 years Abdul Aziz has worked for Saudi Aramco in both technical and commercial assignments. Abdul Aziz started his career working for Saudi Aramco’s Ju’aymah NGL where he spent the first 10 years of his carrier working as a Process Engineer and a Project Engineer.

On July 2019 he has been appointed as the Vice President of Liquid Chemicals in Aramco Chemicals Company (ACC) managing a 3 million metric ton business. This unit handles all the commercial, operational, and chartering for Saudi Aramco affiliates, and it also supports feedstock requirements for the Aramco system.

In addition to Gas & Oil Pakistan Limited, he also serves as a Board member for Aramco Trading Dubai and Aramco Trading Fujairah.
