Usman Hamid, Director
Usman Hamid brings a wealth of finance experience to the organization, making him an invaluable addition to the leadership team.
Usman joined Saudi Aramco in 2013 in finance and led financial due diligence across multiple key transactions. He is currently serving as Director of the Group Governance & Policy with Aramco. With over a decade of unparalleled experience in Saudi Aramco, his most notable contributions include; leading Saudi Aramco’s IPO Finance, Readiness and Compliance activities, and establishing and leading the External Reporting function for Saudi Aramco, where for the first time in the history of Saudi Aramco the annual report was published on both the Saudi Exchange and the London Stock exchange. After establishing External Reporting, Usman was appointed as the Director of the Group Governance & Policy Department overseeing Governance and Policies across the Saudi Aramco Group.
Before joining Saudi Aramco, Usman worked as an Associate Director at Ernst & Young – London in Assurance, Audits, Tax, Financial Advisory and Merger & Acquisitions functions from 2003 to 2013. He holds a master’s degree in finance from University of London. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAEW, UK and ICAP Pakistan, and certified in finance and strategy program from London Business School in 2021.
