On Oct 17, 2019, Gas & Oil Pakistan Ltd. (GO), the fastest growing Oil Marketing Company (OMC) inaugurated its state-of-the-art terminal at Mahmoodkot, Punjab in the vicinity of PARChttps://dev.gasnoilpak.com/mehmodkot/nullam-neque-sapien-pharetra/O Mid-Country Refinery which is the largest oil storage facility of any Oil Marketing Company (OMC) in Punjab. This is a massive addition to an already sizeable portfolio that GO has developed over the last few years, since its inception in 2015.
Amidst a glittering event, hosted at site, that was attended by almost 500+ distinguished guests including Bankers, Investors, Industrialists, Partners & Senior Petroleum business personalities, great moments of celebration were cherished.
Syed Jamal Baquar, SEVP & Group Chief Corporate & Investment Banking Group (CIBG), National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), was the chief guest for the ceremony. Mr. Baquar, while addressing the Press and Audience congratulated GO, its leadership and partners on setting up this state-of-the-art largest oil storage facility in Punjab. He recognized GO’s contribution to the National building agenda and its CSR causes. He reassured leadership team of GO of NBP’s continued support. In his speech he also appreciated the GO business strategy and regarded it as an upcoming brand of choice for the consumers seeking Service Excellence and Quality Fuels. Mr. Baquar, who flew in from Karachi, also supported team NBP for investing, partnering in the OMC sector with GO and being part of the GO success model today and also for the long run.
GO, today has almost 500 retail outlets across Pakistan and progressively targeting almost 600 retail outlets till the end of 2019 across Punjab, Sindh, KPK and Balochistan.
